Pooped Out

What a busy weekend we had. Does not seem we got much accomplished, but we were on the go!

Friday night we met Aunt Lo, Addison, Nana, Rhonda, Kari and Hayden at Manuel's. It was great to see Kari and Hayden since we do not get to see them very often. Of course it was great to see the others too!!

Saturday we slept in and helped haul away the leftovers from my mom's family estate sale they had Friday and Saturday morning. Then we went and visited Addison again cause she was still at Nana's since Aunt Lo and Uncle Robert were going to see the 'Stros play on Sunday. After visiting there for a bit, it was off to see Kevin and Alison and we went to dinner with them and then looked at a few of their wedding pics, but come 9:45 it was time to get home to bathe, eat and to bed.

Sunday came wayyyy to early. We had to wake Grasyn at 7:00 so she could eat and we could get to 8:00 Church service. After church it was back to my mom's family's place to finish up with the haul away. And if that was not enough, Grasyn and I made a Wal-Mart trip and then FINALLY home for good by 5:00!!! Grasyn ate and then I put her in the swing for a bit so I could get some things done around the house and no sooner I looked over, she was sacked out. The poor little thing never got a good nap in all weekend long, so it made total since that she would crash on us so early. Should make for an interesting night for Mom and Dad!

Well, Grasyn has her first 4th of July coming up this week, so I will probably update sometime after that. We have our red, white and blue ready to go!!

Our first swim

So, Grasyn had her first official swim in the big people pool today. We kinda thought she would love the water as she is amazed by the water coming out of the faucet during bath time and when her and daddy go water the yard outside she does not mind getting a little wet in the process.

We took her to Mrs. Blackie-Sengel's house (Brad mows her yard and takes care of her horses a few days week) and daddy and Grasyn inched on in and she just stared at the water for the first few minutes trying to figure it out. Then once in, she loved it! No splashing yet, but I am sure that is to come once we get more active and mobile.
Once out of the pool it was time to eat....I guess it is true....Swimming makes one hungry. She got a little grumpy on us, but all in all, it was a successful swim!

Grasyn is 5 months old now and is becoming more and more alert at things around her and more mobile every day. She has mastered rolling from back to tummy and then back to the back. Just a little longer and she will be sitting on her own.....Wow, just can't believe this has gone by so fast. Just tonight Brad and I were looking at old pictures of her and reminiscing over the day of her birth and how much she has changed.

We love our little fish!

Here we go!

So, I have now joined the bandwagon of my blogging friends! It is a work in progress, but I thought I would at least get the site set up and then as soon as I can get some time to sit down and work with it, I will get some pics uploaded and entries entered.

They may not be witty entries, but you can probably count on them to be wordy....if you know me, you know I like to write alot and leave long phone messages.....so look out blogging world, here I come!
